New
- Stop a run that is going. Select Stop under the agent’s working message in chat, on the run’s row in Runs, or in the run’s details, then confirm. Anything the agent already saved stays. The run shows Stopped and is not counted as a failure. The owner and Administrators can stop runs. See Stop a run.
- Fork a conversation. Point to an agent’s reply and select Fork from here to start a new conversation with everything up to that reply. The original stays as it was. See Fork a conversation.
- Edit a message that you sent. The agent answers the new text, and arrows under your message switch between the versions and their answers. See Edit a message that you sent.
- Copy an agent’s reply with Copy under the reply. See Copy, fork, or edit messages.
- Squad for Mac is in private beta. It is not available to download yet. The app has a menu bar item, one Needs you list for every ask and email that needs you, a Delegate panel that you open from any app with ⌥Space, voice with ⌃⌥Space, your squad in the notch, and notifications that you can answer in place. With Mac access on, your agents can also ask to list a folder, read or write a file, open a web page, read the open browser tab, or see your screen on your Mac, and you approve the requests on your Mac. See Squad for Mac.
- See the subagents that your agents start. A subagent shows as a card in the conversation where it started, with its task and state, as its own Subagent run on Runs, and on the agent’s status timeline. A card stays with the version of the conversation that started it. See See the subagents that your agents start.
- Archive, restore, and delete direct conversations with an agent, the same way as group chats. A new reply brings an archived conversation back. See Archive or delete a conversation.
- Agents name the direct conversation that they are in, and rename it when the topic moves. A name that a person gave always stays: the agent’s name then shows in the header as a suggestion, with Use this name and Keep current name. See Work with threads.
- Delete a file that you sent in a chat, without deleting the conversation. Squad removes it from Squad and its exact copies from your squad’s computer, and the message shows Attachment deleted. See Delete a file that you sent.
- A banner on every screen warns when your squad’s cloud computer is low on disk space or full, with Ask an agent to free up space. The owner also gets a bell notification, and an email when the disk is full. See Your cloud computer’s disk is low or full.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): when you approve in the notch an agent’s request to read a file on your Mac that is too large to send, the notch offers Drop It in the Chat, which opens the chat with that agent with the file attached. See What is never shared.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): answer a Mac access request with Allow or Deny on its row in Recent requests. See Shared folders.
- Wake an agent when something happens in another app, with triggers. Give a trigger instructions and an agent, then pick a webhook or an event in one of your connected apps. A webhook trigger gets its own URL for GitHub, Stripe, Shopify, Zapier, Make, n8n, or your own code, with setup steps for each sender on the trigger’s page. See Start work when something happens (triggers).
- Agents can suggest triggers. A suggestion waits under Suggested by your agents on the Triggers tab and does nothing until the owner or an Administrator approves it. See Approve a trigger that an agent suggests.
- Agents can list the triggers that wake them and read the full event that woke them. When the agent works for you or an Administrator, the list includes a webhook’s URL and the secret Squad made, so the agent can set up the sending app when you ask. See Triggers.
- Search has two new entries, Scheduled tasks and Triggers, that open those tabs of Automations. See Search and keyboard shortcuts.
- See what each trigger event did. A trigger’s page lists its recent events, with Open in Runs, Retry for a failed event, and Run now for an event that was not run. Trigger runs show on Runs with the kind Trigger. See What a trigger run looks like.
- Choose how your squad’s memory works, with three switches at the top of Memories: Squad memory turns memory on or off, Recall before each turn gives agents the memories that match each request, and Learn from finished work lets memory learn after each turn. You and the Administrators who can see every agent can change them. See Turn memory on or off.
- Claude Haiku 5.5 is available for Claude, Claude Code, OpenRouter, and OpenCode. No default model changed. See Choose models and manage AI accounts.
Improved
- Your agents remember your conversations, in the dashboard and on Telegram, Discord, and Slack. A conversation no longer starts fresh each morning, so you can come back to a thread the next day and continue. See How an agent remembers a conversation.
- Agents now work within each teammate’s role and agent list. Squad checks the Squad actions that an agent takes for a teammate, such as a mission change, an email send, or a change to an agent. For example, an agent that works for a Collaborator cannot send email or change agents. An agent that works for a teammate limited to some agents cannot see or change the other agents’ work. Your own requests are not limited. See Agents work within the teammate’s role.
- A helper agent that an agent starts now keeps the limits of the person that the work is for.
- A scheduled task that uses only the accounts shared with everyone now works like a Collaborator. To let such a task send email or change agents, save it yourself with Shared accounts and my own accounts. See Choose the accounts of a scheduled task.
- Agents now know each teammate’s role and, for a teammate limited to some agents, which agents they can use. When Squad refuses an action, the agent tells the person what Squad said and who can do it instead.
- A restart of the workspace computer no longer has to end an agent’s reply. When it can, Squad gives the message back to the agent, which continues where it stopped, without repeating what is done. Routine maintenance also waits while an agent is working. See Interrupted runs.
- When a Claude Code account reaches its usage limit during a run, the run now continues on your next Claude Code account, also when it had already done work. See Choose models and manage AI accounts.
- Failed replies show a plain sentence about the cause, with Retry, instead of a raw error. On Telegram and Slack, a failed reply starts with “⚠️ I hit a problem before I could finish replying.” and names the cause. See Chat failure messages.
- A workspace reset shows a checklist of its steps while it runs, and large workspaces finish their reset. If you close the window, the reset continues, and the checklist shows again when you come back. See Reset your workspace.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): you can select text across a whole message and use Quote in reply, Ask about this, or Copy. See Text in messages.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the notch also counts what needs you in your other squads. See Squad in the notch.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Stop also shows in chat, on History, and on a working agent’s row in the notch. See Stop a run from your Mac.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Attach has the shortcut ⌘⇧A. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the list of what needs you shows missions that wait on you with no question asked yet, and the count of what needs you includes them. See Needs you.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the size limit for a file that an agent reads from your Mac is lower. See Limits and defaults.
- The Unread email list shows every email that the unread count counts, also older ones, and Mark all as read clears them all at once. See Give an agent an email inbox.
- A sign-in on an MCP server that you added by URL and that keeps a session now holds across agent runs. See Servers that keep a session.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Bigger (⌘+), Smaller (⌘−), and Actual Size (⌘0) change the text size. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Back (⌘[) and Forward (⌘]) move between screens, also with a trackpad swipe or a mouse’s side buttons. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Tab reaches every control, whatever your Mac’s Keyboard navigation setting is. See Keyboard navigation.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): mark all docs as read without opening each one. See Docs.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Settings opens over Squad in full screen, on the Space where you are.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): opening Health, or the X on the failure line on Today, sets today’s failed runs aside until another run fails. See Today.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): icon buttons have VoiceOver labels, and the app follows Reduce Motion.
- Agents can withdraw an email escalation that they raised when it no longer needs you. The Live Feed shows the withdrawal and the agent’s reason. See Handle escalations.
- Each row in the bell names who sent it: the agent, the teammate who commented, or Squad for Squad’s own alerts. See Use the bell.
- Selecting a file in a chat or on a mission now downloads it. Cmd-click or Ctrl-click still opens it in a new tab. See Attach files.
- A change to an AI account on AI Tokens that cannot be saved now says what failed and why, for example that the disk is full. A failed Disconnect shows why under the account’s row. See Choose models and manage AI accounts and Your cloud computer’s disk is low or full.
- During a workspace reset, the counter says records, and the agents step says that it deletes the agents and their history. See Reset your workspace.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Decide is now called Needs you, the same name as its section on Today. See Needs you.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the sidebar lists Today, Missions, Email, Docs, and Work, with your agents under Your squad. Computer moved under Work. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Runs is now called History. History and Health in the menu bar’s menu opens it. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Today starts with one sentence about who is working, what needs you, and what your squad finished. Sections below it show only when they hold something. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the chat’s side panel lists only what the open conversation made: files, docs, emails, and missions. It opens by itself once the conversation has made something. See The side panel in chat.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the Delegate panel sends one way, as a new conversation with the agent. See Delegate from any app.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): notifications for this Mac moved to Settings > Notifications > On this Mac. See Notifications on your Mac.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): with Animated teammates off, the agents’ faces stay still instead of showing emoji. See Settings for this Mac.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the snooze choices for the notch are in its right-click menu and in its reply card’s right-click menu. See Squad in the notch.
- The Scheduled screen is now the Scheduled tab of the new Automations page in the sidebar, next to Triggers. Scheduled tasks work as before. See Schedule recurring work.
- Memory search finds the facts that your agents saved, and passages from the text that they came from. See Search memories.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): password managers that use AutoFill, such as Apple Passwords and 1Password, offer your saved squad.so login on the app’s sign-in screen. See Squad for Mac.
- Your squad’s memory now learns from its work on its own: chats, missions, scheduled tasks, and heartbeats, from every person in the workspace. Before each request, the agent gets what the memory holds about it. See How your squad learns.
- A scheduled task that an agent creates with its scheduling tool now uses the accounts of the person who asked for it, also after a teammate joined. This does not apply to tasks that an agent on a Claude Code account creates, or to tasks created with a command. See Choose the accounts of a scheduled task.
- When a scheduled task set to only shared accounts cannot do something, the agent’s message now says that the owner or an Administrator can change the task, when an Administrator may. See Choose the accounts of a scheduled task.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): long lists stay smooth on big squads. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): in History > Week, a busy day shows the runs that fit, then a link with the number and more that opens that day. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): on Scheduled > Week, the Runs continuously row shows the first tasks, then a link with the number and more that switches to List. See The main window.
- Agents on a Claude Code account now get memories before each request, and memory learns from their work, like every other agent. See How your squad learns.
- The page of an app event trigger lists the settings that the trigger was saved with, for example the owner and the repository of a GitHub event. See Add an app event trigger.
- The screen of an agent’s computer now shows only the desktop, without an extra overlay on the stream. See Watch or take over an agent’s computer.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the sidebar lists Today, Email, and Docs, then your agents. Needs you, Tasks, Activity, History, Routines, Computer, Skills, and What your squad knows open from where they belong, most from Today, with a link back to where you came from. They are in the Go menu. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the app calls missions tasks, scheduled tasks routines, tickets questions, and agents teammates. The Siri actions are now Show What Needs You in Squad and New Squad Task. See Squad for Mac.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Needs you and Today also show what only you can fix, with the fix as the button: work that did not finish, routines that never run as they are set up (Fix it), a low or full disk on the workspace computer, and triggers that your agents suggest (Turn it on). The count in the menu bar, the Dock, and the notch includes them. See Needs you.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): History says when Squad picked a run back up after a restart, and when a busy day has more runs than it lists. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the chat’s connect card asks whether to share the account with everyone in the squad, as in the dashboard. See Who can use an account.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): when an agent suggests a name for a conversation, you can use it or turn it down in the rename field. See A name that an agent suggests.

Fixed
- After you sign in with the correct password, the login page goes straight to the dashboard. It no longer shows the code step for a moment.
- A message or an email that is sent once now arrives once, also when the browser repeats the send after a dropped connection.
- A run that is still going no longer drops off Runs when it started before the days that you are viewing.
- A rate limit from your provider no longer moves your agents to the next Claude Code account. Only a usage limit does. See Choose models and manage AI accounts.
- A message that a restart of the workspace computer caught at the wrong moment no longer stays on working for 15 minutes. It goes out again as you sent it.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the selection bar shows its labels above the words that you selected.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Needs you no longer keeps a processor core busy. See Needs you.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the bell fits on the screen and scrolls.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): a new conversation’s row no longer stays “Sent” after the reply arrives.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): only one sidebar row is marked at a time.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): long conversations open quickly.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): you can scroll up in a conversation while an agent works.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the working dots no longer slow the app down while an agent works.
- A chat reply that fails before the agent starts, for example because the model does not exist, no longer leaves Working… and Stop under the failure message. On Runs, the run shows the cause of the failure. See Chat failure messages.
- For a teammate, opening a reply from the bell now clears it from the count. See Use the bell.
- Message on Telegram on the lead’s profile now shows only to the workspace owner, because the main bot answers only the owner’s Telegram account. See Add, change, and pause agents and Connect Telegram.
- Files that you download from the dashboard keep their name and extension. They no longer save under a code instead of their name.
- Disconnect on an AI account no longer reports success when the account was not removed, and no longer stays on Disconnecting… when the request fails.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): ⌘C, Copy in the right-click menu, and dragging now copy the words that you selected in a chat message. See Text in messages.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): code blocks and quotes now show in chat messages, and lines in a code block break between words. See Text in messages.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): a file opened from the chat’s side panel no longer shows an empty Quick Look with “No items selected”. See The side panel in chat.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Assigned to you on Today lists only your missions, not every person’s. See The main window.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the recent activity, the jump back into a recent conversation, and today’s schedule now load on Today. See The main window.
- Forget all… on the Memory screen, and the memory step of a workspace reset, delete your squad’s memories again. See Clear all memories.

- Runs now says when a day has more runs than it can list, instead of leaving out the earliest runs without a word. See Limits and defaults.
- An app that you connect from a connect card in chat in the dashboard can be shared with everyone. In a workspace with teammates, the card asks, like Integrations. Before, such an account was always private. See Who can use an account.
- Agents now describe an email escalation the way it shows on the Email screen, with Instruct and Dismiss. See Handle escalations.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): Tab moves through every row of a list, also the conversations beside a chat, and reaches the buttons on chat cards. See Keyboard navigation.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): letters that you type into a box, for example an answer in Needs you, go into the box instead of acting as shortcuts. See Needs you.
- App event triggers now wake their agents. Before, Squad refused every event that a connected app sent, so these triggers did not start runs. The app’s notices about connected accounts, for example that an account expired, now reach Squad too. See Start work when something happens (triggers).
- Memory no longer learns from work that starts with an email to an agent’s inbox or with a trigger’s event, so text from outside your workspace does not become a shared memory. See How your squad learns.
- An agent can now forget a memory that it saved, by the ID that it got when it saved it. A memory that is already gone no longer makes the request fail. See Memory.
- Squad for Mac (private beta): the app no longer crashes when a list row has nothing to draw.

- Squad for Mac (private beta): when Squad cannot remember a folder that you chose with Always for this folder, the request still goes through once, and the notch says so. See You approve requests on your Mac.
