Revid is AI short-form video creation and publishing. Connect it, and your agents can make videos, track them, and publish them. Revid is in the Recommended section of the catalog. It connects with a Revid API key that you paste. It has no sign-in button.

What agents can do in Revid

Agents get 13 Revid tools: Squad blocks one Revid tool: buy_credit_pack, which charges your Revid account. Your workspace computer never gives this tool to any agent. Rendering spends the Revid credits in your connected Revid account. Agents are told to check the cost with revid_calculate_credits before large renders, and to tell you when credits run low. You buy credit packs yourself, in the Revid account page. Revid has no access levels in Squad, and there is no Per-agent access setting for it. The tools appear within a couple of minutes after you connect. Until then, agents cannot see them.

Connect Revid

Before you start:
  • You need a Revid account. Sign in at revid.ai.
  • Your Squad subscription must be active.

Copy your Revid API key

In Revid, open the account page and copy your API key from the API key section.

Open Integrations

In Squad, open Settings > Integrations.

Add an integration

On the Connected apps tab, click + Add integration.

Choose Revid

Under Recommended, click Revid. The Connect Revid window opens.

Paste the key

Paste the key in the API key field.

Click Connect Revid

Click Connect Revid.
Check that it works: Revid shows under YOUR CONNECTIONS. When you open it again, the window shows “Connected. Your agents can use Revid.” If Revid is not in the catalog, or connecting fails with a message that your workspace is still updating, your workspace computer does not yet run a version that enforces the blocked tool. Squad shows and connects Revid only when it does.

Replace the key

Open the account menu (⋯) on the Revid row and click Replace key. Paste the new key and click Save new key. Squad stores one Revid key for your workspace. A new key replaces the old one. You cannot connect a second Revid account.

Disconnect Revid

Open the account menu (⋯) on the Revid row and click Disconnect. Squad deletes the stored key from your workspace computer.
Disconnect in the account menu acts at once. In the Manage Revid window, Disconnect asks you to click Really disconnect? first.

Add Revid as your own MCP server

You cannot. If you add an MCP server with Revid’s server address, Squad rejects it and tells you to connect Revid from its card. This keeps the blocked tool blocked.

Costs

Revid tools do not use Squad credits. Rendering spends the Revid credits in your connected Revid account. For what uses Squad credits, see What Squad costs.
