🗂️ Missions: the board

4 min read · Updated

The board is the answer to "what is my squad doing?" at a glance. Four columns - Backlog (queued, an agent will pick it up), Needs you (paused, waiting on a call from you), In flight (being worked now, with a live status line on each card), Done. Cards carry priority, tags, comment count, and a staleness flag when something in flight hasn't moved in two days.

Creating missions: the Home composer for quick ones (your lead routes it), or + New mission on the board when you want to set priority, description, and assignee yourself. Missions created by schedules and agents land here too - the board is the single queue for everything.

One toolbar runs the page: search, the agent and priority filters, and the Blocked toggle on the left; Archived and Trash on the right open those lists in place (the toolbar stays with you, the open one shows as pressed, and pressing it again returns to the board). Show feed opens the live activity rail beside the columns, and + New mission closes the row.

Inside a mission: the full progress trail (every status the agent reported, with links to any doc or email it touched), attachments, a comment thread - reply to steer the agent mid-flight - plus watchers, the token cost so far, and YOUR CALL actions when it's blocked. A mission card's menu also offers Chat about it, which opens the conversation with that mission attached.

💡 Tip: Use priorities honestly: agents pick up Urgent first, and the "N done today / N need you" chips above the columns keep score. A board where everything is urgent is a board where nothing is.

Change of direction: [what changed]. Keep [what still applies], drop [what doesn't]. If this invalidates work you've already done, say so and estimate the redo; don't silently start over.

Archive what's stale, restore anything later. Archived missions keep their history; Trash holds deleted ones for 30 days before clearing. Your personal decision queue lives on its own screen: My Tickets, one row down in the sidebar.
