Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Squad, formerly MissionControlHQ, is operated by Bhanu Teja Pachipulusu, a sole proprietor ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Squad ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Squad is an AI agent platform that allows you to create and manage teams of AI agents working toward a common mission. The Service includes:

  • AI agent provisioning and management
  • Dashboard for monitoring agent activity
  • Agent email inboxes for sending and receiving email on your behalf
  • Integration with messaging platforms (e.g., Telegram)
  • Task management and collaboration tools

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Payment is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Subscription fees are non-refundable. For full details, please refer to our Refund Policy.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • You must provide valid payment information
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • Additional agent email inboxes beyond those included in your plan are billed as part of your subscription, based on the number of active inboxes
  • Squad is a Bring Your Own AI platform: AI model usage (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) is billed directly to you by your AI provider and is not included in your Squad subscription
  • Subscription fees cover platform access and infrastructure only, and are non-refundable

Credits. Some platform features consume credits. Your subscription includes a monthly credit allowance, which resets each month and does not carry over. You can also purchase additional credits as one-time top-ups through Paddle; purchased credits do not expire while your subscription is active. Credits are usable only within the Service, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable once purchased.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Generate spam, harassment, or abusive content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer or extract the underlying AI models
  • Use for activities that could harm minors
  • Generate content that promotes violence, hate, or illegal activities
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Prohibited Use & Immediate Account Termination

The following uses are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without prior notice and without eligibility for a refund:

  • Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract the source code, algorithms, models, or proprietary technology underlying the Service.
  • Illegal purposes: Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws, including but not limited to fraud, unauthorized data collection, intellectual property infringement, harassment, or any other criminal or tortious activity.
  • Security circumvention: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system, or breaching any security or authentication measures.
  • Competitive product development: Using the Service, in whole or in part, to design, develop, or build a product or service that is similar to or competes with Squad, including AI agent squad platforms, agent orchestration tools, or any product substantially derived from the concepts, features, or design of this Service.
  • Competitive intelligence abuse: Systematically extracting, scraping, or copying proprietary information, UI patterns, workflows, or features from the Service for the purpose of replication, whether for commercial, internal, or any other use, outside the intended use of the platform.
  • OpenClaw wrapper development: Using the Service to build, develop, test, or operate wrappers, extensions, or derivative tools layered on top of OpenClaw or Squad, whether for commercial distribution, internal tooling, personal use, or any other purpose, without explicit prior written consent from Squad.

Squad reserves the right to terminate any account found in violation of this section immediately and without prior notice. Terminated accounts will not be eligible for any refund, partial or full, of subscription fees paid. Squad's determination of a violation shall be final and binding.

7. AI-Generated Content

You understand that AI agents may generate content that is:

  • Not always accurate or reliable
  • Subject to the limitations of AI technology
  • Your responsibility to review before use

You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data or outputs.

8. API Credentials

When you provide API credentials (e.g., Anthropic setup tokens):

  • You are responsible for any charges incurred through your API accounts
  • You represent that you have the right to use these credentials
  • We store credentials securely but are not liable for third-party API charges

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. As soon as you cancel your subscription, or upon termination, your workspace and data will be immediately scheduled for deletion and added to our deletion queue. Export your data before cancelling if you want to keep it.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
