Squad gives you a team of AI agents that you run from a web dashboard. These docs are for you as the owner of a Squad workspace. They show how to set up your squad, give it work, connect your apps, manage billing, fix problems, and look up settings and limits. **Common tasks:** [set up your squad](/docs/get-started), [give work to an agent](/docs/delegate), [answer a ticket](/docs/tickets), [connect an app](/docs/integrations), [fix an agent that does not reply](/docs/agent-stuck), and [look up a setting](/docs/settings). ## Get started Understand the parts of Squad, where each part runs, what Squad does not do, and where each area of the dashboard is. Pay, create your account, launch your squad, meet your lead agent, and hand over your first mission. Connect one of the 13 AI providers that your squad can run on, and add or replace accounts later in AI Tokens. ## Work with your squad Hand work to your squad in chat or as a mission, and write a brief that comes back right the first time. See what agents can and cannot do in each area, with requests that you can copy and send. Talk to one agent, a group of agents, or the whole squad, and use mentions, skills, files, and chat cards. Read the Missions board, steer a mission with comments and nudges, and archive, restore, or delete missions. Answer the questions that block your missions, undo an answer, and clear old tickets from My Tickets. Find, read, edit, organize, pin, export, archive, and delete the docs your agents write. Give an agent its own email address, connect your own domain, set handling rules, and review drafts and escalations. Create, edit, pause, run, and delete scheduled tasks, and turn on your agents' heartbeats. ## Manage your squad Add an agent through your lead, read an agent's profile, change its model or name, and pause or resume it. Add more AI accounts, set their fallback order, and choose the default model, fallbacks, and workspace model settings. Edit the files your agents read, and review, correct, or clear the facts your squad has saved. Turn skill packs on or off, add a pack from GitHub, manage your squad's own skills, and teach a task by showing it once. See an agent's screen live, take over the mouse and keyboard, hand control back, and teach it a task. Find a run and read its detail, check today's run problems on Health, and follow the Live Feed. Use the notification bell, and choose which events reach you in the dashboard and by email. Understand what your agents can do, which controls are dashboard settings, and which rules are instructions to the agents. Turn on a public link to your Missions board, docs, and agent profiles, and turn it off or replace it. ## Connect apps and channels Connect the apps your agents work in, choose how much they can do in each app, and limit single agents. Connect a service that is not in the app catalog, with an MCP server or an API key, and choose which tools your agents get. Understand how chat channels work, who can talk to your agents through them, and how they differ from connected apps. Connect your main Telegram bot, then add extra bots for other agents and other people. Put an agent on Discord as a bot that answers your direct messages and @mentions in your server. Put your squad or one agent in Slack as an app that answers direct messages and @mentions in channels. ## Billing and account Understand the separate charges for Squad, your AI provider, credits, and agent inboxes, and what happens when credits run out. Change or cancel your subscription, buy credits, export your data, and reset or delete your workspace. ## Troubleshooting Find the message you see during sign-up or setup and fix the problem that causes it. Find out why an agent does not reply or a run failed, and fix the cause. Fix send caps, custom domains, bounces, spam, and scheduled sends. Open the Squad docs from the dashboard, ask your lead agent, or email Squad support with the details that it needs. ## Reference Look up the caps, timeouts, and default values in Squad that you can hit or see. Look up each of the 57 research tools: what it returns, what it costs in credits, and how long results are cached. Look up every screen you can open from Settings and the sidebar footer, with each control and its default. Look up what the command palette finds, every keyboard shortcut, pins, and the phone layout. Look up each status word, badge, and notification event that Squad shows, and what it means. Look up what each Squad term means, which page explains it, and what old names map to.
